E-waste awareness and collection drive by CMDA and International Association of Lions Clubs

Pune (P&V News Service): Computer and Media Dealers Association(CMDA) Pune and The International Association of Lions Clubs District 3234D2 have jointly organized an e-waste awareness and collection initiative.
The drive is being conducted from April 26 to May 2, 2022 with a total of 18 collection centers for e-waste in Pune and PCMC.The drive was inaugurated today at Jai Ganesh Vision Co-operative Society in Akurdi. CMDA Pune President Mangesh Bhalerao, Secretary Chintamani Kuber, Project Head Sumit Vora along with Lions Club District Governor 3234D2 Hemant Naik, Vice District Governor Sunil Checker, , MAIT President Mr. Arjun Gholve , Director Mahalaxmin Erecyclers Mr. Mehta and Ewaste head Mr. Dhananjay Dhumal were present on the occasion.
Citizens are expected to take part in this e-collection drive by donating their non-functional computers, laptops, mobile phones, cameras, chargers, refrigerators, TVs, VCRs, CD players, printers, mixers, microwaves, etc. The campaign is supported by Mahalakshmi Recyclers- Hadapsar, Vora Computers, GNR Recyclers and Anand Computers.
