The Sawai Gandharv Bhimsen Mahotsav organised by the Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal will take place between February 2 and 6, 2022. This would be the 68th edition of this iconic festival. The mahotsav will be held at Katariya High school ground in Mukund Nagar. The dates of the festival have been chosen in such a way that the birth centenary year of Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. All the rules and regulations of the state government applicable at the time of the festival shall be followed.”

६८ वा सवाई गंधर्व भीमसेन महोत्सव येत्या २ ते ६ फेब्रुवारी दरम्यान
पुणे, दिनांक, १३ डिसेंबर, २०२१: आर्य संगीत प्रसारक मंडळातर्फे आयोजित करण्यात येणारा ६८ वा सवाई गंधर्व भीमसेन महोत्सव दिनांक २ फेब्रुवारी ते ६ फेब्रुवारी, २०२२ या कालावधीत आयोजित करण्यात येणार आहे. महोत्सव मुकुंदनगर येथील कटारिया शाळेच्या प्रांगणात संपन्न होईल.
भारतरत्न पंडित भीमसेन जोशी यांच्या जन्मशताब्दी वर्षाची सांगता सवाई गंधर्व भीमसेन महोत्सवाच्या आयोजनाने व्हावी, या भावनेने या तारखा निश्चित करण्यात आल्या आहेत. यावेळी राज्य सरकारची जी नियमावली प्रचलित असेल त्याचे पालन करून महोत्सवाचे आयोजन केले जाईल, अशी माहिती आर्य संगीत प्रसारक मंडळाचे कार्याध्यक्ष व भारतरत्न पंडित भीमसेन जोशी यांचे सुपुत्र श्रीनिवास जोशी यांनी दिली.
