Directed by Hemant Dhome film ‘Jhimma’ to release in theatres on 19th November

Pune (P&V news service):Jhimma is an upcoming Indian Marathi language drama film directed by Hemant Dhome for Chalchitra Company. The film written by Irawati Karnik. The story of the film as the tagline suggests; “Seven wives, who now take the trip of their life in the Queen’s country”; revolves around a group of seven women travelling to London and discovering themselves. who go on a trip to London to escape mundane day-to-day life. A tour guide (Siddharth Chandekar) accompanies them. Their experiences on tour and how they discover themselves is subject of the film.
Different age groups and different socio -cultural backgrounds coming together on a vacation to the Great Britain with a tour company for 10 days. These women come with their issues and a lot of baggage. During the course of this trip we hope to unfold each character and their journey. Each of the woman faces her demons and discovers herself. The trip turns into an opportunity to mend fences, heal old and new wounds, fall in love with life and combat their worst fears. Jhimma is a slice of life film. Which just gives us a new and fresh perspective towards our lives.
Revolving around a group of happy go lucky women from different fields, who come together to enjoy their life. Presented by Chalchitra Company , produced by Amey Vinod Khopkar and Crazy Few Films and written by Iravati karnik, this film stars Sonalee Kulkarni, Kshitee Jog, Mrinmayee Godbole, Sayali Sanjeev, Siddharth Chandekar, Suchitra Bandekar, Suhas Joshi, María Luz Tremsal, Nirmiti Sawant. Music by Amitraj and cinematography by sanjay Memane are the other credits of this film.
