Hon’ble Governor Acharya Devvrat Inaugurates JBM Group’s ‘Sarvotkarsh 2025’-Driving Health, Education and Sustainability Initiatives in Pune
Pune: Reflecting its sustained commitment to social progress, JBM Group convened its flagship CSR initiative, ‘Sarvotkarsh 2025’ at JBM Auto Plant at Chakan, Pune. The event was graced by Acharya Devvrat, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, and Gujarat, as the Chief Guest.
‘Sarvotkarsh’, that means ‘Growth for All’, is an evolving platform for action, uniting government leaders, community organizations, and NGO partners to spearhead meaningful change across health access, education, and environmental stewardship delivering targeted interventions, from mobile vaccination clinics to large-scale wellness camps.
Participation from the Police Department, District and PCMC administrations, Labour and Safety Departments, and the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board underscored a shared vision for societal advancement.

This year’s Sarvotkarsh featured several impactful initiatives:
- Cervical Cancer Vaccination: Hon’ble Governor formally flagged off a dedicated mobile vaccination ambulance to further the cause of “Cervical Cancer MuktAbhiyan” by JBM Group. This initiative is expected to safeguard the lives of hundreds of young girls by providing vaccinations and spreading essential awareness to help prevent cervical cancer at an early stage especially around Chakan area.
- Blood Donation Drive: In line with its commitment to health and humanitarian service, JBM Group also organized a Blood Donation Drive, with employees volunteering across seven JBM Group locations, contributing to saving more lives through the collective spirit of service.
- Mobility & Nutrition: Wheelchairs were distributed to specially abled beneficiaries, and ration kits through the Annapurna Abhiyan supported orphanages, old-age homes, and care institutions across Pune region.
- Health Access: The program hosted comprehensive health and wellness camps offering free eye check-ups, dental check-ups, blood pressure and sugar tests, thyroid screening, bone marrow tests, physical fitness assessments, women’s wellness guidance, and general medical consultations, making healthcare easily accessible to nearby communities.
- Skill Development: Hundreds of local youth and women receive training annually through JBM’s Skill Development Centers focused on automotive technologies and soft skills.
- Environmental Initiatives: JBM Group reported a 20% reduction in energy consumption, operated zero-waste programs, and pursued tree plantation and clean energy projects, advancing its environmental stewardship.
Information desks promoted awareness of essential social security schemes such as PF, ESIC, and MLWF programs, accompanied by NGO exhibitions highlighting innovative community empowerment approaches.
