State-of-the-art PICU set up at Surya Sahyadri Hospital under the CSR program of Interpump Group companies in India

Pune (P&V News Service): A state-of-the-art Paediatric Intensive Care Unit has been set up at Surya Sahyadri Hospital under the CSR program of Interpump Group, Italy & its subsidiaries in India. Interpump Group has its Head Quarters in Italy & is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.The 10-bedded unit including cardiac set up will benefit underprivileged children. The equipment includes Eight ventilators, USG Machine, Monitoring equipment, ECG machine, Dual Chamber Pacemaker, Ultrasonic Nebulizer etc.Present during the occasion were Former Mayor of Pune Shri Murlidhar Mohol, Company officials of Interpump Group including Mr. Girish Garud (Country Co-ordinator Interpump Group Companies in India), Mr. Aniket Kunjir (CFO – Inoxpa India) along with Dr. Jaisingh Shinde, Medical Director,Surya Sahyadri Hospital, Trustee Prakash Tulpule and Dr. Ketan Apte Vice President .

Shri Murlidhar Mohol, former  Mayor of Pune appreciated the contribution of Sahyadri Hospitals during the entire pandemic. He also lauded the CSR program of Interpump Group for the patients in need. 
Mr. Girish Garud, Country Coordinator of Interpump Group companies in India, said that the pandemic has brought focus back on healthcare. We have seen the determination and courage with which the medical professionals worked round the clock to ensure patients go home healthy. Going forward people participation will be equally important in ensuring healthy society and therefore we thought of contributing to this cause by setting up a PICUDr. Ketan Apte,Vice President, Sahyadri Hospitals said that we are thankful to the entire team of Interpump Group Companies in India who came forward for this noble cause. Surya Sahyadri Hospital has been one of the first hospitals in the country to be dedicated to the underprivileged. Therefore this gesture is especially significant as this would benefit underprivileged children.
