Pune (P&V news service):- The virtual gathering of the 6th International Diabetes Summit (Virtual) 2022 was inaugurated in the virtual presence of dignitaries of national and international acclaim.

Prof. Nils-Goran Larsson, Chairman of the Nobel Prize Committee for Physiology and Medicine at Karolinska Institute, Professor and Head of the Department of Medical and Biochemistry and Biophysics at Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden. Due to lack of awareness and mismanagement of diabetes many patients face bitter consequences of the disease, same thing we experience as most of the patients died due to Covid was diabetic.

We have also been conducting several clinical trials meant for people with diabetes, and have also been leading/ coordinating centers for real world studies. The future of diabetes care is changing. People with diabetes are living longer and this is thanks to the researchers who are conducting various researches and discoveries in diabetes management.
