Taking note of this, this honor was conferred on behalf of ‘Suryadatta’.

Anna Hazare said, “Some people in the society are struggling to make their personal world bigger. However, Professor Dr. Sanjay Chordiya has made significant contribution to make the world of knowledge bigger in the society through Suryadatta Group Institute. We have to do something useful for the society. There will be many difficulties in social work, there will be accusations, but you have to answer it through your work without criticism. The feeling of revenge should not be in our mind.  Non-violence, peace, honesty should be adopted.”

Professor Dr.  Sanjay Chordiya said, “Suryadatta Education Foundation has been working for the last two decades to make Gandhian ideals the norm. We strive to inculcate these ideas in our students and teachers. Anna Hazare has been working in the society for the last many years with Gandhiji in mind.  We are all aware of his agitation against corruption in the Gandhian way. While presenting him this Award, feels like Gandhi’s thoughts are being honoured in the true sense. Anna has raised many struggles for social change by Gandhian thought. Building a model of ideal rural development, Gandhiji’s idea of ‘Let’s go to the village’ came true. If Gandhian thoughts are rooted in the youth, then the country will be shaped for better tomorrow.”
