Nationalist Congress Party and Diva Pratishthan organize a unique event of Painting and Sculpture “Chitra-Shilp Sanvad

More than 30 renowned artists from Maharashtra to display their art in “Chitra-Shilp Sanvad”

Pune :(P&V News Service) : This unique event organized by Nationalist Congress Party and Diva Pratishthan was inaugurated by Vitthalsheth Maniyar.  “Chitra-Shilp Sanvad” has been organized as a special gesture to celebrate 81st birthday of Shri. Sharad Pawar who is well known as a lover of art, music and culture. As Mr. Maniyar said during his speech, that for Shri Pawar Saheb, it was Art and Culture that gives him tremendous happiness.

On the eve of his birthday, this special event has been organized which shall bring together prominent Artists who will display their work and create magic Live at this event.
Present on the occasion were Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol, NCP’s Rupali Chakankar, Chairperson of State Women Commission, NCP City President Prashant Jagtap, NCP Spokesperson Ankush Kakade, Diva Pratishthan’s Founder Deepak Mankar, Opposition leader PMC Dipali Dhumal, NCP Kothrud Constituency President Harshavardhan Mankar, Diva Pratishtahan President Karan Mankar, NCP Art & Culture Cell District President Priya Berde, NCP Art & Culture Cell Western Maharashtra President Surekha Kudchi, Veteran artist Murlidhar Lahoti, Vivek Khatavkar, Craftsman Bapusaheb Zanje, Datta Sagare, Nilesh Artist were present at the inaguration.

Vitthalsheth was all praise for rare collection of Shri Sharadji Pawar’s photographs that were painstakingly collected and displayed at the event. He said that event of this nature should also take place in Baramati. Prashant Jagtap said that in an age when most are inclined towards living a retired life, here was a great leader Sharad Pawar Saheb who has been travelling across the nation and yet being completely connected to the masses of the state and people of Maharashtra shall always be in awe of him and his legacy of work.
Rupali Chakankar said that it was art and their skills and talent that give hope and a sense of beauty to way of living. Artists were deeply respected even during the times of Shri Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj. And during his tenure as the Chief Minister of the state, Pawar Saheb had felicitated artists in monetary terms as deep respect for their art.

Ankush Kakade said when putting up flex billboards to wish leaders is the trend, Deepak Mankar has been consistently organizing meaningful events for the past 15 years to bring in Shri Pawar Saheb’s birthday. During the 2 difficult years of pandemic, it was Mr. Mankar who has supported many artists and families financially.

Mr. Mankar in his speech said that for him his idol was Mr. Sharad Pawar. The paintings and sculptures that will be done at this event shall be kept for display in Baramati as well.
More than 30 renowned artists from Maharashtra shall be displaying their arts at this special event.
