Pune: Art enthusiasts and maritime lovers can look forward to a distinctive exhibition in the city from April 5 to 7 at Balgandharva Rang Mandir- kaladalan , JM Road , showcasing creative works by seafarers. The exhibition with the theme ‘ Horizons and Seascapes’ will feature around 125 exhibits, including a mix of paintings and photographs, capturing the oceanic landscape and offering rare glimpses into life at sea through the eyes of those who experience it firsthand. The exhibition will be open to the public from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on all three days.
Organised jointly by Company of Master Mariners of India (CMMI) Institute of Marine Engineers India (IMEI) , and Indian Maritime Foundation (IMF) , along with Maha Mariners Association (MMA) and Amazeng Nautical Association (ANA) the exhibition aims to celebrate maritime culture, creativity, and the personal perspectives of seafarers.
The exhibition will be inaugurated at the hands of Vice Adm Anil Jaggi AVSM, Commandant NDA on 5th April at 4.00 pm.
