4th Creative Art Therapy Awards 2026 Celebrate Healing, Inclusion and Human Resilience
Pune: Sancheti Healthcare Academy, in association with the Sancheti Group, successfully organised the 4th Creative Art Therapy Awards recently at the Open Air Theatre, Pune International Centre, Pashan, Pune. The event honoured individuals and organisations using creative arts as a powerful medium for healing, inclusion, and social transformation.
Initiated in 2018, the Creative Art Therapy Awards were envisioned to acknowledge the selfless efforts of art therapists and practitioners who use art for healing and work silently yet tirelessly for the betterment of society. Over the years, the initiative has evolved into a meaningful platform celebrating these unsung heroes.
Awardees of the 4th Creative Art Therapy Awards included Dr. Gitanjali Govindrajan – Snehadhara Organisation, Bengaluru, Shilpa Datar – Shilpa Nrutyalaya Trust, Mandar Karanjkar – Baithak Foundation, Pune,Khula Aasmaan Foundation – Dr. Prachee Sathe and Team, Swaranaad – Dr. Avinash Wachasundar and Ms. Raksha Deshpande,Suraj Gaiwal – Special Awardee and Chandrakant More – Special Awardee
Mrs. Manisha Sanghavi, Chairperson of Sancheti Healthcare Academy and the visionary behind this initiative, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the awardees and participants for their extraordinary contributions.
The awards were presented by a distinguished panel of guests including Mr. Anand Chordia, Mr. Arvind Jain, Ms. Tripura Kashyap, Ms. Anubha Doshi, Dr. Ashutosh Chauhan, Dr. Anil Bhave, Dr. Amita Phadnis, and Ms. Sonal Sancheti. The gracious presence of Padmavibhushan Dr. K. H. Sancheti and Mrs. Anuradha Sancheti added immense value and was truly the highlight of the evening.
The programme was anchored by Dr. Nikita Mittal and Mr. Hrishikesh Pawar, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Rupal Sancheti.
The cultural performances added soul to the celebration. Graceful classical dance performances by Dr. Madhuri Apte and her senior disciples from Nrutyavedh mesmerised the audience. Nearly 45 students of Sancheti Healthcare Academy presented a vibrant Bollywood dance sequence, receiving heartfelt applause. The musical segment featured Pt. Vinayak Honnavar from Mysuru, who enchanted the audience with flute recital and bhajan singing, accompanied on tabla by Mr. Anurag Alurkar.
