Pune – Maidaan, a leading platform for interschool online quizzing tournaments, hosted its prestigious Awards Night on January 23, 2025, at The Fern Residency, MIDC. The event celebrated the achievements of school leaders and top-performing institutions that have contributed to the platform’s rapid growth. With over 65 partner schools in Pune, Maidaan has provided more than 12,000 students the opportunity to showcase their skills in monthly online quizzing tournaments.
Awards were presented in three categories. The Domain Excellence award recognized schools with the highest cumulative scores in Maidaan’s tournaments across subjects like English, Math, GK, and Science, with GK Gurukul emerging as the overall winner. The Merit Rankers category honored schools with the most merit awards across all tournaments in the PCMC area, with Blue Ridge Public School securing the top spot. Meanwhile, the Champions Mindset award recognized schools with the most participants across all subjects and grades, with Motilal Talera English Medium School taking home the prize.

School principals expressed their admiration for the cultural transformation Maidaan has brought to their institutions. Since its introduction, the platform has empowered students to step beyond their comfort zones, encouraging participation in a wide range of competitions without the fear of failure” said Judhajit Bal, Co-Founder, Maidaan.
The evening was dedicated to recognizing the unwavering commitment of school leaders in shaping the future of education. Principals and school leaders from 25 of the top schools in the PCMC area gathered to honor the top-performing schools in Maidaan’s tournaments for the academic year 2024-2025.
