Sahayatta Kendra (YAJNSK), inaugurated India’s first dedicated vaccination clinic focused
on the elderly. The clinic, located at the Yogi Arvind Manch in Sahakar Nagar, Pune, aims to
address the pressing need for comprehensive healthcare services tailored to the elderly
population.
Vaccination among the elderly is of paramount importance, especially the pandemic
highlighted the necessity of the vaccines. The initiative aligns with the recommendations of
Niti Aayog, emphasizing the significance of vaccinating the elderly to protect them from
various infectious diseases like Influenza, Pneumococcal, Shingles (Herpes Zoster),
Measles, Mumps and others.
The launch event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Chief Guest Laxmi Prasad ji
Lawalekar Joint Secretary, RSS Pune Mahanagar and Guests of Honor Dr. Jayant Navrange,
