‘Suryadatta’ is dedicated to raise the living standard of the disabled
Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya; ‘Jallosh 2023’, a program for disabled children concludes with Fourteen world records

Pune: The ‘Jallosh 2023’ (Trio Celeb Fest 2023) organized by the Suryadatta Group of Institutes for children with disabilities has concluded marking Fourteen world records. These records are confirmed and awarded byIndia Star Book of World Records, Guinness World Records, International World Records, etc.
This thirteenth season of ‘Jallosh’ took place at Surya Bhavan in Bavadhan Campus of ‘Suryadatta’ featuring activities like magic experiments, dance performances, food distribution, balloon bursting and distribution of bicycles to students from remote areas. 1,200 student’s including 600 from 21 schools for disabled children and one school in tribal areas, and 600 from Suryadatta National School, gathered to celebrate the New Year and Christmas festival.
This gathering full of activities for four consecutive hours set a world record. These include India Star Book of Records, India Star World Records, Republic World Records, Uttar Pradesh World Records, UK World Records, Guinness World Records, Women’s World Records, International World Records, Indian Icon Records, International Women’s World Records, Uttarakhand Book of Records, Hope International World Records, Assam Book of Records, Bengal Book of Records. This event has also been registered for the Limca Book of Records.
Founder President of ‘Suryadatta’ Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Vice President Sushama Chordiya, Social Welfare Department Officer Praveen Korgantiwar, Sakal Social Foundation Rahul Garud, Lions Club Director (Disabled Welfare) Seema Dabke appreciated various activities of children. Dr. Sheetal Bagul, Madhuri Pandit, Trushali Jadhav from Shantidoot Parivar along with others were present. Marking the completion of 25 years of ‘Suryadatta’, 25 prominent people like headmasters, teachers, social workers, psychologists, caregivers working for the disabled were honored with ‘Suryadatta Suryabharat Surya Gaurav Award 2023’.
Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya said, “Jallosh 2023 has been organized on behalf of ‘Suryadatta’ to encourage and improve the living standards of disabled children, and efforts are being made by ‘Suryadatta’ to enable them with maximum facilities. This year 600 disabled students from 21 schools gathered together in one place to celebrate this occasion. Moreover, participation of 600 students from Suryadatta National School and 100 students – parents from tribal areas set a unique kind of world record.”
“I see God in the disabled students. They have immense energy. We should not see the disabled as unable, but as a gift from God. The living standards of the disabled should be raised, they should be encouraged, they should be provided with all facilities to lead a normal life. This is the first time that such an activity is being undertaken. The contribution of the participating institutions is commendable,” said Prof. Dr. Sanjay Chordiya mentioned.
Praveen Korgantiwar said, “Pune district is proud to be a leader in working for the disabled. There is a big difference between working through ‘CSR’ and heartfelt contribution. Mr. and Mrs. Chordia are working for the disabled as a mission. Other social institutions need to take their work as an example. Implementation of such activities for the disabled is the need of the hour.”
Rahul Garad said, “Sakal Social Foundation in collaboration with Suryadatta for innovative activities consistently. 25 to 30 bicycles were distributed to the students from remote and tribal areas every month. As Suryadatta completed 25 years, 25 students of Mhasal in Raigad district were provided with bicycles. This activity will be helpful in reducing their commuting time and sparing more time for study.”
Seema Dabke explained the background of the program. She said, “This year is the 13th year of the program, every year Suryadatta makes this program a success pouring out everything from the bottom of heart. It helps to boost the morale of disabled children. This motivates and empowers our students”.
