Rakhi exhibition and health check up camp conducted by Meri Saheli.

Pune: Meri Saheli, has been working for the overall development of women for the past 22 years and through the group all women participate in social activities along with entertainment programs. Devi Tanna, the founder of Meri Saheli, has also provided a platform for women who run businesses from home. The Raksha Bandhan Exhibition organised by Meri Saheli Group was inaugurated recently at Kachhi Lohana Mahajan Wadi Hall in Bhawani Peth. It was inaugurated by the senior members of Kachhi Samaj Satsang Mahila Mandal, Damyantiben Bawal, Amritben Kesaria, Mainaben Tanna, Geetaben Somayya, Rasilaben Naram, Maya Ben Thakkar. In this exhibition, stalls were provided to women at fair prices. Attractive rakhis, homemade food items, clothes, Imitation jewellery, bags and purses, cosmetics were put up for sale and like every year free stalls were provided for disabled and orphan children in this exhibition. Spiritual guru Swami Himanshu and Swami Prem Meet visited the exhibition and wished the women entrepreneurs.

This year, along with the exhibition, a free health check-up camp was also conducted for all citizens at the same place. Dr. Khyati Chothani Tanna guided the treatment of various disorders through homoeopathy. Dentist Dr. Bhavika Chandan on oral health, Physiotherapist Dr. Jinal Mehta and Nutritionist Dr. Heti Shah on age-appropriate diet and exercise and Yoga Instructor Meeta Thakkar on how to stay healthy after 40 with yoga guided the attendees. The event was coordinated by Raksha Chandan, Divya Tanna and Hetal Naram.
