Koos is helpful to keep Government’s institutional memory alive

Dr. Neelam Gorhe said at the seminar on the novel ‘Koos’ on behalf of Sarjansheel Katta by Uchit Media

Pune : “A woman’s uterus and the various forms of exploitation associated with it are a fact. Even though the government’s policies are good, their implementation takes many years. It also adds to the wide gap between the various departments of the government and the society. Koos’s novel is useful in keeping the institutional memory of the government alive as everyone changes from commissioners to ministers. If you take the initiative to create a positive work in this regard, we will help you to the best of your ability,” said Dr. Neelam Gorhe, Deputy Chairman of Maharashtra Legislative Council.

She was giving a presidential remark in the seminar on ‘Koos: Narrative exploration of women’s survival and health’, organized on behalf of the Sarjansheel Katta by Uchit Media.
