Pune : The 16th edition of Bhimthadi Jatra will be held at the College of Agriculture Pune Ground (Sinchan Nagar) from December 22-26 this year.
This year, women entrepreneurs from 22 districts will take part in the fest spread over 200 to 300 stalls. Organic products, tribal art, projects of Young India will be showcased in the exhibition. Visitors will have an opportunity to taste exotic delicacies from the rural regions.
The fest is held for social, economic, and educational empowerment of women entrepreneurs and to boost rural agro-economy. It is jointly organised by the Agriculture Development Trust, Baramati, and Mahatma Phule Agriculture University.
“Preservation of rural culture, tradition , quality rural food and unique handmade and handicraft products made by rural women is the highlight of ‘Bhimthadi Jatra’. People need to take note that only those who have received 2 shots of covid vaccine will be allowed entry for the event. Those who have got one dose will be required to have RTPCR Covid test report. Identity Card and Vaccination Certificate will be checked before giving entry.”
The inauguration of the fest will be done by successful businesswomen at 4 pm on December 22
भीमथडी जत्रा 22 ते 26 डिसेंबर दरम्यान
पुणे : ग्रामीण महाराष्ट्राच्या संस्कृतीची जत्रा म्हणजे भीमथडी जत्रा. भीमथडी जत्रा मागील 15 वर्षापासून पुण्यात ऍग्रीकल्चर डेव्हलपमेंट ट्रस्ट, बारामती संस्थेच्या वतीने भरवली जाते. यावर्षीदेखील कोरोनाचे सर्व नियम पाळून येत्या 22 ते 26 डिसेंबरपर्यंत ही जत्रा भरणार आहे. पुणे येथील कृषी महाविद्यालय मैदान, सिंचन नगर रेंज हिल कॉर्नर, शिवाजीनगर येथे ‘भीमथडी जत्रा 2021’चे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे, अशी माहिती ऍग्रिकल्चर डेव्हलपमेंट ट्रस्ट बारामती च्या विश्‍वस्त सुनंदा पवार यांनी पत्रकार परिषदेत दिली. या पत्रकार परिषदेला सई पवार उपस्थित होत्या.
सुनंदा पवार म्हणाल्या, महिला बचत गटाचे दर्जेदार उत्पादन ,हस्तकला, वस्तू महाराष्ट्राचे अस्वल खाद्यपदार्थ आणि ग्रामीण संस्कृतीचे दर्शन या सर्व गोष्टींचा एकाच छताखाली पुणेकरांना आनंद घेता येतो म्हणून भीमथडी जत्रेला गेली पंधरा वर्षे पुणेकारानी प्रचंड प्रेम दिले. याचेच फळ म्हणून पंधरा वर्षात 8,500 पेक्षा जास्त महिला बचत गट यात सहभागी झाले. नवीन जोडले जात आहेत.
भीमथडी जत्रेसाठी कोरोनाचे नियम
कोरोना आणि ओमिक्रॉन व्हेरियंटच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर भीमथडी जत्रेसाठीही कोरोनाचे नियम लागू करण्यात आले आहेत. त्यानुसार दोन लसीचे डोस घेतलेल्या व्यक्तींनाच येथे प्रवेश दिला जाणार आहे. तसेच ओळखपत्र, माक्स असणाऱ्यांनाच या जत्रेचा आनंद घेता येईल.
