NSDC and IIT Mandi announce a strategic partnership to initiate a certification program in Data Science and Machine Learning

Pune (Voice News Service): National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT) Mandihave announced a strategic partnershipto initiate two certification programs including six-monthcertification and nine-month long advance certificationprogram in modern technologies to make India’s youth future ready. The students will be educated intwo integral streams- data science and machine learning. The program will begin from1stNovember 2022.Through these courses, learners will be enabled to pursue severalcareers indata analytics, data management, data science, business analyticsandbusiness intelligence.

The courses will be delivered through a live broadcast by the IIT Mandi faculty. The program will allow learners to build a strong foundation in data science and help them specialize in machine learning with Python certification for data-driven decision-making. The certification will be jointlyprovided by NSDC and IIT Mandi. Students pursuing BE/ B.Tech Graduates and Final Semester BE/B.Tech Under Graduates are eligible for these courses

The selection of interested candidates will be carried out through an eligibility test. An online screeningtest will be conducted on 15th and 16th Oct 2022 and students can register at https://bit.ly/CCEIITM

The curriculum under this collaboration will comprise multiple modules, case studies, industry projects, interactive exercises, doubt-solving sessions, and more. The industry projects will enable the course participants to work on topics aligned with industry requirements in the field of data science and machine learning.

Data science andmachine learning are rapidly being adopted in almost all the fields. The global machine learning market is poised to grow to USD 90.1 billion by 2026 from USD 17.1 billion in 2021 at a CAGR of 39.4 percent, according to BCC research. Additionally, the data analytics market is expected to reach USD 132.9 billion by 2026, from USD 23 billion in 2019, as reported by Market Research Future.
