Special children won the hearts of the audience.
Pune – Wonder Stars Symphony program on the occasion of Teacher’s Day was organized at Garware College Metro Station in association with Pune Metro and Vaidya Nanal Ayurved by Lions Club of Pune Talawade Pride. It was conceptualised and executed by Lakmikant Gund and Daya Satish Ingale of Prithvi Theatre. In this program, teachers of many institutions working for special children like Baal Kalyan Sanstha, Abhisar Foundation Wakad, Kamayani Sindhu Vidya Bhavan Aundh were felicitated. On this occasion, special children of Prithvi Theatre, Kamayani Sindhu Vidya Bhavan Aundh won the hearts of the audience by their excellent singing.
On this occasion President Lion Ashish Garg, Lion Vijay Agarwal, Lion Satish Ingle, Vaidya Ayesha Ashutosh Nanal, Mahametro Deputy General Manager Manoj Kumar Daniel were present. Sangeeta Tai Kumthekar, Devyani Borse, Seema Dabke, Samita Pawar, Vaishali Khedkar, Bhagyashree Kapse, Bhagyashree More, Geetraam Darade Guruji, Vikas Jagtap, Shivraj Kalshetty were honored by Lions Club office bearers and Vaidya Nanal. After the program special children and teachers were given a metro ride. The kids seemed very happy with the ride. All these teachers expressed a sense of satisfaction that they have been taking care of special children lovingly for many years and that their selfless work was appreciated on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
