Ishpreeth , Rayaan, Sumehr crowned national champions at The 88th Billiards and Snooker Nationals and 10th 6 Red Snooker
Pune (P&V News service) :- Ishpreeth Singh Chadha, Rayaan Razmi, Sumehr Mago all of Maharashtra emerged national champions at the The 88th Billiards and Snooker Nationals and 10th 6 Red Snooker hosted by Madhya Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association under the auspices of the Billiards & Snooker Federation of India, which concluded at the SAGE UNIVERSITY, Bhopal, M.P
Over 970 players from all over the country from age 11 to 72 years,participated in 14 Events, Maharashtra’s Rayaan Razmi took the coveted double crown lifting the Junior Boys Snooker and Billiards title , while the Subjunior boys Billiards was lifted by Sumehr Mago, Maharshtra Player Ishpreet Chaddah won the coveted Men’s Senior Snooker crown .
Multiple time s national and world champion Pankaj Advani of PSPB added one more national title to his kitty winning the 88th Senior Billiards championships, while PSPB’s S. Shrikrishna won the 6 Red Snooker . Karnataka Dominated the women’s national event with Vidya Pillai emerging the ladies champion,while Varshaa Sanjeev claimed the Ladies Billiards title , Amee Kamani of Madhya Pradesh won the Ladies Snooker title
The president of BSFI Mr. Rajan Khinvasara, said ” It has been a challenging year , despite the pandemic and dire situations, we successfully managed to end 2021 with this 36 days- Championship , this event will surely help our Cue sports Fraternity of India.” with many international events and team championships planned in the next year .
