THE NICHE Fashion Arena International
Pune (P&V News Service) : India’s Fahion magazine THE NICHE Fashion Arena International held its Designers’ Awards nite 2021 Event in Pune at CULT House on 12th December, 2021. CEO, FOUNDER n Owner Cyrus Pestonjee organized the awards night with his dedicated team Prajakta Albuquerque, Fashion Creative Director and Amar Shammu Sonawane, International Paegants Directors’ presence in the event.
Prajakta Albuquerque, Fashion Creative Director of the magazine, has been sewing this journey with the concept was devised to provide a platform for budding designers and models to showcase their talent. 2 seasons down and the magazine has proudly spearheaded 2 fashion shows displaying unique concepts weaved into art worn by enthusiastic girls and boys looking to make a mark in the world of glamour.
The process begins with Prajakta sourcing these enterprising designers and conducting auditions for the models. And then begin intense workshops where she grooms and trains the girls to sashay down the runway. Followed by fittings, the choreography for the day is finalized along with the tunes they will walk to. She also hosts the event, breathing life into it with her elegant and eloquent presence.
The last show, held on the 12th of December at Cult House was graced by Kirthi Ruia, the Area chairman of Round Table India and Kunal Gala as the jury who represented Round Table India as the NGO partner. Simran Ahuja the ex Miss India 2013 and well known anchor and actress was not only the jury at the show, she was the show stopper wearing Neha Neharika Mantri’s (I Love Kapda) exquisitely designed outfit on theme Indian Glam.
The other designers were Saini Garg who showcased Indian textile in Western silhouettes co-ord sets. Designer Dr. Aliya Khan also wove together a line of gowns carrying the theme Modern Fairy Tale. The Glitz and Glam line of Tuxedos were designed by Sanket and Shilpa. They also exhibited their Heritage collection of Indian wear.
The girls and boys who walked the ramp wearing the designs, namely, Female models Lavanya Patil, Samruddhi Sancheti, Chetna Gawli, Manasi Tamgole, Sushmita Nath, Preet Akolkar, Ankita Hanamghar, Sanika Divakar, Samruddhi Jaysingh, Gauri Shitole and male models Adil Hussein Reshi, Ashish Jotiram shinde, Kaustab Maadiwalay, Sudesh Kumar, Pranit Babaji, Dumbre, Ram Asati, Lokesh Jadhav and Debasis Dipa who made an evening memorable.
