Program to mark world arthritis day by Mission Arthritis India and Center for Rheumatic Diseases

Pune (Voice news service):- Mission Arthritis India (MAI), in collaboration with the Center For Rheumatic Diseases (CRD), organized a special awareness event today at The Poona Club, Camp, Pune, to mark the upcoming World Arthritis Day.The theme of the program was The Moving Foundation-Foot and Ankle in Arthritis.
 
 Adv. Avlokita Mane, Past Vice President of the Family Planning Association of India (Pune branch), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The program officially commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the release of the MAI annual souvenir. During the event, Chief Guest Adv. Avlokita Mane addressed the gathering and felicitated arthritis patient  Shri Shrikant Keskar and Dr Chopra felicitated Ms Gurpreet Saggu to honor their resilience and fight against arthritis.
 
 
Delivering the welcome address, Mrs. Aboli Burande secretary MAI opened the proceedings, while Ms. Rani Parasnis, Chairperson of MAI, delivered the chairperson’s address. Ms. Parasnis reaffirmed the organization’s foundational vision of providing “No Sympathy, Only Support” to individuals living with arthritis, empowering them to lead fulfilling, normal lives.
 
 The event featured medical and informative sessions by clinical experts including Dr. Arvind Chopra, Director and Chief Rheumatologist at CRD, Dr. Vaijayanti Lagu Joshi renowned Rheumatologist, 
Mr. Sanjeev Kashyap  consultant orthotics including treatment approaches and managing rheumatic diseases, foot and ankle joint conditions and practical applications and benefits of orthotics in managing mobility and joint alignment.
