Aadhar Housing Finance supports Warkaris during Ashadi Wari with rest shelters and awareness initiative
Pune: Reinforcing its commitment to community well being and meaningful social impact, Aadhar Housing Finance supported devotees participating in the Pandharpur Wari by providing facilities that will make their travel easier and will also raise awareness by educating them about homeownership. Every year, lakhs of Warkaris undertake the arduous journey to seek the blessings of Lord Vitthal, demonstrating unwavering faith, resilience and devotion as they walk through scorching sun and relentless monsoon rains. Recognizing the physical demands of the pilgrimage, Aadhar Housing Finance has provided 100 rest shelters, offering respite from the journey and a comfortable place for pilgrims to relax before continuing their spiritual yatra.
During the time when pilgrims are resting in the evening, the company also initiated an educational awareness initiative through creative street play. Written specifically for the event, the play revolves around the journey of a family which had a dream of getting a house but faced certain difficulties in doing so due to lack of finances. It showcases how, through sheer hard work and right financing guidance, the family succeeds in fulfilling its dream. In addition, the street play is also covered by BhaDiPa the famous Marathi influencer channel making it more engaging by speaking to pilgrims and understanding their experience of the wari and their homeownership journey.
The performances will be held on July 9 in Nanapeth, Pune, on July 15 in Lonand, and on July 24 in Pandharpur. The initiative aims to connect with communities through a culturally relevant story while creating greater awareness about affordable housing finance.
