“Sur Pahadi” Program by Nadasaptak Sangeet Vidyalaya, Pune Achieves Double Recognition
Pune : The special musical program “Sur Pahadi”, presented by the students of Nadasaptak Sangeet Vidyalaya, Pune, has been officially recorded in both the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records.
The unique musical event was held on February 25, 2026, in Pune in the presence of distinguished guests and music lovers.
Under the guidance of renowned singer, composer and guru Girish Panchwadkar, the students presented 116 Marathi and Hindi songs based on the famous Pahadi raga from Indian classical and folk music traditions.
Official jury members from the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records were specially present during the event, and the record of this long musical concert was registered in their presence.
Nadasaptak Sangeet Vidyalaya is not just a music learning institute, but also an inspiring platform that provides students with opportunities to perform on a grand stage.
Notably, in the last two years, Nadasaptak Sangeet Vidyalaya has achieved three record entries in its name.
