NEXUS 2026 – Annual Cultural and Sports Festival at BNCA
Pune (Voice News Service): The MKSSS’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati college of Architecture (BNCA) is proud to announce NEXUS 2026, its annual social, cultural, and sports festival, scheduled from 3rd to 9th January 2026. Nexus has evolved into a vibrant platform that celebrates creativity, talent, collaboration, and student spirit. This year’s theme, CINEVERSE, draws inspiration from cinematic universes, transforming the BNCA campus into an immersive and dynamic cultural experience.
A major highlight of Nexus 2026 is the Flea Market (Cine Bazaar) on 7th January 2026, which will be open to all with an entry fee. The flea market will feature 40 stalls on display, showcasing a diverse range of products including art, crafts, lifestyle goods, accessories, food items, and student-led entrepreneurial ventures. Designed as a lively social space, the flea market aims to encourage local participation, creativity, and cultural exchange while adding an interactive dimension to the festival atmosphere.
Another highlight of the festival is the Nexus 2026 Academic work Exhibition of the Students of B. Arch, M. Arch & B. Des, where a spectrum of Academic work will be on display. The Exhibition is set to be inaugurated by Prof. Ar. Abhay Purohit, the President of the Council of Architecture, India on 5th January 2026 and will be visited by Principals, Teachers & Students of Architecture across Pune region.
Inter-College TORQUE – Volleyball Tournament
As part of the sports segment of Nexus 2026, BNCA will host TORQUE, an inter-college volleyball tournament that brings together teams from various institutions. TORQUE, scheduled from 3rd to 5th January 2026, aims to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among students while adding high-energy sporting action to the festival.
Nexus 2026 promises a week filled with cultural evenings, workshops, exhibitions, competitions, sports events, and student-led initiatives, reinforcing BNCA’s commitment to holistic education beyond academics.
