Pune : Noble Hospital and Research Centre has expanded its organ transplant services with a liver transplant program. This is backed by multi-disciplinary set up and a team of highly skilled surgeons, hepatologists, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals who work collaboratively to provide optimal care throughout the transplantation process, from patient evaluation to post-transplant follow-up.Dr. Dileep Mane, Chairman and Managing Director Noble Hospitals, said that liver transplant has become a critical treatment option for those suffering with end stage liver diseases. There is no doubt that awareness and confidence amongst common people about organ donation is increasing as they witness the success rates of transplants .While there has been significant advances in the treatment, the gap between the number of people waiting for organs and organs donated is huge.
