Record yield from Shriram Super 5-SR-05 and 1-SR-14 wheat seeds, remains farmer’s first choice in coming sowing season
Pune : In Maharashtra, Shriram Farm Solutions’ developed wheat seeds, Shriram Super 5-SR-05 and Shriram Super 1-SR-14, have brought significant change to wheat farming. These advanced varieties are known for high yield, disease resistance, and adaptability across various climatic conditions.

Experienced farmer Vipul Vasantrao Deshmukh shares that this year he sowed the Shriram Super 5-SR-05 wheat variety in his field. He notes that the stems of this variety are extremely strong, preventing the crop from lodging. Additionally, the higher number of tillers and 85–90 grains per panicle resulted in exceptional yields. He says, “Even under unfavorable weather conditions, Shriram Super 5-SR-05 delivered consistent and impressive yields — it is truly a dependable wheat variety.”
Farmers are also very pleased with another variety introduced by Shriram in the market, Shriram Super 1-SR-14, and are achieving excellent results with it.
Another farmer, Mangesh Kumar, who sowed Shriram Super 1-SR-14 wheat last year, mentioned that compared to other varieties, Shriram Super 1-SR-14 produced longer panicles, more tillers, and a higher number of grains per ear. Additionally, this variety required less water. He recommends that other farmers also consider cultivating Shriram Super 1-SR-14.
