Pune: A total of 16 teams from various leading IT companies of Pune and its vicinity will be seen in action at the 19th edition of “Ankur Joglekar Memorial” Inter IT Cricket Championship Cup 2025-2026 which is being organized by IDeaS a SAS Company from 1st November 2025.
K. S. PRASHANT [Managing Director [India], IDeaS a SAS Company], MALLIKA JAMES [Finance Head IDeaS India] said that Ankur Joglekar lost his life in a fatal road accident in the year 2005, an employee of IDeaS company Ankur Joglekar was a good cricket player. He was a good all-rounder. He represented the State Squad for the Under-19 team and was on the probable list of the National Team of Vidharba.
AJM inter IT Cricket Tournament is just an initiative taken by IDeaS a SAS Company for the last 20 years to keep the memories of Ankur Joglekar alive and also to raise awareness about Safe Driving of Vehicles, Road Safety & Traffic Disciplines of Pune. This will be the 20th year of the AJM Inter IT Cricket T-20 Tourney organized in fond memories of their employee ANKUR JOGLEKAR by “IDeaS a sas Company”.
Top IT companies of Pune and vicinity including Infosys (Defending Champions 2024–25),TCS (Runners-up), Cognizant, Yardi, SS&CTechnologies, Deutsche Bank,KPIT, Amdocs, Cybage Software,Aurus Tech, Bosch Global Software Technologies, IDeaS, a SAS Company, CITI, FIS Global, BritishPetroleum, and Alliance Bernstein.
There will be 4 pools & in each pool, there will be 4 teams. Each team will be playing 3 League matches in the initial round. The matches will be played on a League cum Knockout basis. 2 teams leading the points chart from each pool will qualify for the “QUARTER FINAL Round” & then the “SEMI Finals”, the best 2 teams will play the “GRAND FINALE” of the “AJM 2025-26” on 21st December 2025 Sunday.
The venue of the matches is PCMC VARROC VENGSARKAR GROUND, Thergoan, Pune & Hajare Ground, Moshi, Pune will be played only on Saturdays & Sundays.
The tournament offers total prize money of Rs.85,000/- which consists of cash prizes to the Winners Rs.50,000/-, Runners-Up Rs.30,000/-, Man of The Series Rs.5,000/-.
The Tournament opening match will be played between Infosys and SS&C Technologies on 1st November 2025 (Saturday) at PCMC VARROC VENGSARKAR GROUND, Thergoan, Pune.
The inauguration will be graced by the presence of K. S. PRASHANT [Managing Director [India], IDeaS a SAS Company], Mallika James [Finance Head IDeaS India], Rajiv Nashikkar, Ex- MD & VP IDeaS India Operations], Wing Commander Uday Joglekar [President, Ankur Joglekar Memorial Foundation & Father of Ankur Joglekar], Vijay Joglekar [Vice President, Ankur Joglekar Memorial Foundation].
