Suryadatta National School Shines in NABET Accreditation

Pune: The Suryadatta Education Foundation’s Suryadatta National School has earned the prestigious accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET), a constituent of the Quality Council of India. Considered a benchmark of educational excellence, this recognition marks a significant milestone in the institution’s pursuit of quality and holistic education.

The accreditation stands as a testament to the school’s commitment to efficient governance, comprehensive development, and the creation of an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. NABET, a highly reputed body, grants recognition to institutions that adhere to national and international standards, ensuring best practices in administration, teaching-learning processes, infrastructure, safety, and student support.

Established in 2014 at Bavdhan, Pune, Suryadatta National School has consistently focused on delivering a student-centric learning experience. The school underwent a rigorous evaluation process, assessed across 15 standards and 50 parameters, including governance, curriculum design, infrastructure, human resource management, safety protocols, and continuous improvement.

In January 2025, a three-member NABET audit team visited the school for a detailed review, which included stakeholder meetings, presentation of the school’s vision and achievements, document verification, classroom observations, parent-teacher-student interactions, and evaluation of facilities and safety measures. Following the inspection, the team presented its observations and recommendations. Upon successful compliance with all requirements, the school received formal accreditation on September 8, 2025. The certification is valid until January 2029.

Out of 1,642 schools in Maharashtra, only 20 have qualified for NABET accreditation. Before this, just four schools in Pune had achieved the distinction. With this recognition, Suryadatta National School joins the elite group, highlighting its commitment to exceeding expectations and aligning with the highest educational benchmarks.

Congratulating the school community, Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President of Suryadatta Education Foundation, and Vice President Sushama Chordiya praised the contributions of the principal, faculty, non-teaching staff, students, and parents.

Calling the accreditation a “historic milestone,” Prof. Dr. Chordiya said, “This achievement reflects the collective effort, dedication, and commitment of our entire school community—including students, teachers, staff, and parents. The tireless work of Principal Sheela Oka and the Accreditation Committee members Dr. Anupama Neverekar, Prajakta Katkar, Anjali Chauhan, Aparna Nair, Gaurav Sharma, Monika Hajare, Vrushali Pisal, and Neeta Patil has been instrumental in this success. Equally important has been the unwavering trust and support of parents and well-wishers.”

He further added that the recognition not only validates the school’s ongoing initiatives but also provides guidance for future development. “We will continue to strengthen our systems, enhance student experiences, and uphold the highest standards of education and governance. Suryadatta National School remains committed to creating an environment where every student can grow academically, emotionally, and socially,” he said.
