Welcoming over 150 cancer specialists from across India and abroad, the conference highlighted advancements in the treatment of breast cancer with a focus on modern techniques and a holistic approach to breast cancer management.
A highlight of the event was a live robotic mastectomy – in Pune, signifying the present generation of minimally invasive surgeries for breast cancer. The operation has better surgical accuracy, quicker recovery and better cosmesis, signifying a true paradigm shift in the treatment of breast cancer in India.
The event brought together more than 150 oncology professionals and medical professionals from across the country and around the world to see the newest developments in breast cancer treatment.
