At our foundation, we believe that the true strength of an organization lies not only in its business success but in its commitment to the well-being of its people.

Through our various initiatives in health, housing, education, sustainability, and disability support, we strive to make a meaningful impact. Today, we are gathered here for a cause that is deeply rooted in our values—empowering individuals with disabilities by restoring mobility and confidence through distribution of artificial limbs.

This initiative, “Walk India” – Helping hands giving steps is a collaborative effort between Delfingen, Fupro Innovations and Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, three organizations bound by a shared vision of inclusivity and care. We recognize that disability should never be a barrier to a fulfilling life, and by providing these artificial limbs, we are not just offering mobility but also restoring independence, dignity, and hope.

Every step taken, every hand extended, and every effort made in this direction is a testament to our belief that everyone deserves an equal chance to lead a life of dignity and opportunity. This initiative is not just about technology or prosthetics; it is about empowering individuals to reclaim their aspirations, their livelihoods, and their dreams.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our partners, our dedicated teams, and all the volunteers who have worked tirelessly to make this possible. Your efforts remind us that when we come together, we can break barriers, open new doors, and truly change lives.

Let us continue to build a world where compassion leads to action and where no one is left behind.

Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General of IFCCI, emphasized the significance of the initiative, stating, “Amputees face physical, emotional, and societal challenges that limit their potential. ‘WALK INDIA’ directly addresses these challenges by combining advanced prosthetic technology with economic empowerment. IFCCI is honored to partner with Delfingen and Fupro Innovation Private Ltd. in this endeavor, which reflects the strong commitment of French companies in India to fostering sustainable and inclusive development.”

Further added, Mr. Nimish Mehra, Founder & Managing Director, Fupro Innovation Private Ltd., “In 2016, in my second year of college, I went through knee surgery. Being in bed for 2 months made me realize the importance of mobility. Initially it looked good as I didn’t have to attend college but after some time it felt like my freedom was compromised. I soon realized that “Mobility is Independence”. I did not want to become dependent on someone at the age of 20.

I think this event is a manifestation of my dream that no person should go through the same pain that I went through.”
