Spectacular Showcase of Creativity and Talent at the Cultural Arts Festival organized by Dhareswar Vidya and Sports Foundation

Pune: Enchanting Ganesh Vandana, the invocation of Adishakti… soulful singing of songs and ballads… staging of enlightening plays… eradication of superstitions through folk performances… chanting of Harinam in traditional Warkari attire, and a wave of patriotism through inspiring songs… mesmerizing dance performances… The audience erupted in applause and lavish praise, witnessing the artistic brilliance and creativity of the students.

The occasion was the Cultural Arts Festival Week organized by the Dhareswar Vidya and Sports Foundation! The annual festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm for seven consecutive days at the educational complex in Dhayari. Students from all branches of the foundation participated and showcased their talents. The festival, which presented an amalgamation of arts, traditions, and creativity, drew a large crowd of students, parents, and locals.

The students performed Ganesh Vandana, the invocation of Adishakti, Koli dance, Qawwali, campaigns like “Save Water, Conserve Water,” Mission Mangalam, Khandoba Jaagar, Maharashtra’s saint tradition, various scenes and ballads based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and inspirational plays. A drama highlighting the harmful effects of excessive mobile use and the benefits of physical activities, songs emphasizing historical events, and performances glorifying the lives of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, and Hirakani were staged. Patriotic songs echoed the slogan “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan,” a tribute was paid to Bharat Ratna Late Ratan Tata through soulful renditions.

Distinguished guests from various fields graced the festival to encourage and appreciate the students. The dignitaries included Rupali Chakankar, Chairperson of the State Women’s Commission, Suvarna Tai Phanse from the Education Department, Prashant Netwate, and foundation leaders like Kakasaheb Bandoji Chavan, Nandusheth Bandoji Chavan, Bhimrao Bandoji Chavan, Sudhakarrao Jadhvar, Director Aniket Kakasaheb Chavan, Directors Sunita Kakasaheb Chavan, Harshada Aniket Chavan, and Raveena Avdhut Chavan, along with other prominent personalities from Dhayari and the surrounding areas.

The heads of various branches—Vikas Kumbhar, Vilas Khade, Madhav Kakade, Dr. Sunita Chavan, Deepak Khedkar, Vandana Kakade, and Madan Suryawanshi—executed the event’s planning and coordination with the support of all teachers. Students and parents also contributed immensely to the festival’s success.

For the past 25 years, Dhareswar Vidya and Sports Foundation have been committed to providing quality education to students. This cultural festival is organized annually to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents. It helps nurture their skills and infuses new energy into them. Thanks to the collective efforts of students, teachers, and parents, this year’s festival has been exceptional.
