The Parimal and Pramod Chaudhari Foundation (PPCF) organises ‘Utkarsh Sammelam’ to review the progress of it’s fellowship program

Pune :  The Parimal and Pramod Chaudhari Foundation (PPCF) on Saturday organised  ‘Utkarsh Sammelam’ at MES Auditorium, Kothrud. The program was organised to take a review fellowship initiative started by PPCF to support student education. Chief Guest Dr.Sanjay Runwal, Management Expert and Business Strategist,  Mr.Pramod Chaudhari Chairman Praj Industries, Mrs.Parimal Chaudhari, Managing Trustee Praj Foundation were present on the occasion. The website of the Parimal and Pramod Chaudhari Foundation was unveiled at the hands of Mr.Pramod Chaudhari . 


 Around 15 students from high schools, junior colleges and vocational courses who have excelled in their education during this ongoing fellowship were felicitated on the occasion. The efforts of nine institutes who have help identify needy students were also felicitated on the occasion.
Advocating the concept of ‘DGL’ ( doing good in life ) Chief Guest Dr.Sanjay Runwal said that the work of PCCF will inspire people to do good for the society. Doing something good does not only mean helping with money , but with experience,expertise, exposure, education and  excellence. We all have these in some of the other form and therefore we all can do something for our society and our nation. He added that today’s world presents a lot of opportunities for youngsters and nobody can stop them from dreaming big.

Mrs.Parimal Chaudhari said that education is the first step of success in our lives.  Education presents everybody with equitable opportunities. This opportunity should be available to all and we should all work towards this . 

The fellowship program is in it’s fourth year and has been started by PCCF to to support students who are passionate about education but could not qualify for traditional scholarships. While highly meritorious students receive standard scholarships, the PPCF Fellowship provides financial support to students who have the capacity and intent for further education and have scored 50% and more in their last examination. The aim is to enable them to become self-reliant at the earliest and start contributing to their families financial well-being.
Since 2021, PPCF has been granting Fellowships to students from schools, colleges, and vocational training institutes, within around 100-kilometer radius of Pune. Eligible students undergo a selection process based on predefined criteria. In addition, a home visit is conducted to assess and verify the student’s family and financial background. PPCF covers the entire educational cost for selected students which allows them to focus on their studies without being worried about finances.
The review of the program at the Utkarsh Sammelan revealed that 2593 students from 125 institutes have benefited, of which approximately 60% of students are female. 728 students received the Fellowship for vocational training, and 111 have completed their course and are employed and have started supporting their families. Their achievement is a testament to the PPCF’s impactful work.
