MIT-ADTU to Host Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2024
Pune: MIT Art, Design, and Technology University (MIT-ADTU), Pune, is set to host the grand finale of the 7th edition of the Smart India Hackathon 2024 (SIH) – Hardware Edition. The prestigious event, organized by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), will take place from December 11 to 15, 2024 at the iconic Sant Shri Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Vishwashanti Dome on the university campus.
This year’s event will witness 29 teams from across India competing to solve five innovative problem statements from the Ministry of Coal and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Each problem statement carries a prize of ₹1 lakh for the winning team.
Grand Inauguration
The inaugural ceremony will be graced by Shailendra Goswami, Chairman and Managing Director of Pushkaraj Group, along with MIT-ADTU’s Vice-Chancellor and Executive President, Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad, as the chair of the event. Esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Sunita Karad, Pro-Vice Chancellors Dr. Mohit Dubey, Dr. Ramchandra Pujeri, Registrar Dr. Mahesh Chopade, and Nodal Centre In-charge Chairperson Dr. Rekha Sugandhi, Co-Chairman Dr. Nishant Tikekar and Convener Prof. Suresh Kapare will also attend.
The program will be centrally inaugurated by the Ministry of Education at 9:00 AM on December 11, 2024.
