Pune: Vijay Bhandari, the newly elected President of JITO Apex International, was honored with the ‘Suryadatta Global Excellence Award 2024’ at an event organized by the Shri Vardhaman Shwetamber Sthanakvasi Jain Shravak Sangh Sadhana Sadan Pune. The award was presented by Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, the founder-president of the Suryadatta Education Foundation.
The event took place in the esteemed presence of Pujya Gurudev Gautam Muniji Msa and Pujya Chetan Muniji Msa. Among the dignitaries present were Sushma Chordiya, Vice President of the Suryadatta Education Foundation, Snehal Navlakha, Associate Vice President, CEO Akshit Kushal, Director (CSR) Prashant Pitaliya, along with Prithviraj Dhoka, Vijaykant Kothari, Popatlal Ostwal, Manik Duggad, Aadesh Khivansara, officials of the Jain Shravak Sangh Sadhana Sadan, and other notable guests.
Vijay Bhandari has been elected as the president of JITO Apex International, a prominent organization in the Jain community. He will serve in this position for two years, from 2024 to 2026. Mr. Bhandari was previously serving as the National Vice President of JITO Apex Shraman Arogyam. He has also held the positions of National Vice President of JITO Apex, President of JITO Rest of Maharashtra, and President of JITO Pune. It is noteworthy that the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) was established in Mumbai with the blessings of Nayapadmasagar Msa. This organization has chapters in 70 cities across the country and 29 chapters worldwide, with 48,000 members, and Vijay Bhandari will take on the role of International President.
Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya stated that Vijay Bhandari has become the youngest president of JITO Apex International. This is a matter of pride for Pune, as he has been awarded the ‘Suryadatta Global Excellence Award 2024’ for his unparalleled contributions from local to global levels. Mr. Bhandari has made a unique identity for himself in the paper industry in a very short time. He is also involved in social work through organizations like JITO, Lions Club, Aashapura Mata Charitable Trust, Jain Yugal Dharma Sangh, Savali Old Age Home, among others. He served as the Lions Club International District 3234 D2 from 2023 to 2024 and is the first Lion in the history of the Lions Club to be appointed as the Great Governor.

I will primarily work for the development of Jain entrepreneurs and businessmen, women and the younger generation, as well as for Jain organizations working in the field of industry and trade worldwide. Additionally, I will make special efforts for the good health of the gurus, saints, and sadhvis of all sects of the Jain community,” gratitudes Vijay Bhandari.
