Noble Hospitals and Research Centre organizes special program to mark nurse’s week 2024

Pune : Noble Hospitals and Research Center on Wednesday organized a special program ‘ Dil ki Baat with Passion Fire’ to mark the’ Nurses Week 2024’ . This unique program was aimed at interaction with i nursing leaders from India and around the world to inspire the next generation of nurses. Distinguished panel of nursing leaders  who are  driven by their extra-ordinary passion  shared their  passionate journey.  The esteemed  chief guest -Mr. John Sell -International Surveyor at Joint Commission International, USA . His remarkable professional journey reflects about his dedication, perseverance , leadership and passion of being a  transformational leader  on a global scale.  Other celebrity panelists graced the Talk-show  are  Ms. Arpita Mondal- Chief of Nursing Service at Institute of Neuroscience- Kolkata , who has returned from the USA, Dr. Sreelekha Rajesh, Professor cum Vice -principal of TGINE, Pune- who has just been elected as the First Nursing Dean at Maharashtra university of Health Sciences,  Ms. Sriparna Giri –  highly accomplished  Assistant Nursing Superintendent – Daycare cum Assistant Professor at Tata Medical Centre-Kolkata –  bagged the  Rising Star trophy in Mrs India Competition .Ms Sonia Mathew, Chief Nursing Officer and Ms Tripti Nanda, Director of Quality and Nursing Services, Noble Hospital, Pune moderated the unique talk show.

The nursing leaders opined that nursing is a demanding profession and reiterated the importance of persistence, teamwork, flexibility, support for colleagues, desire to learn and empowering the subordinates.

Addressing the nurses virtually, Mr. John Sell – International Surveyor, Joint Commission International, USA who had served as a nurse in US Airforce Medical Services said that” if you think of a patients’ journey from when they develop a medical issue and find their way to the hospital and get treated- it is the nurses with whom a patient  has maximum interaction. It’s not just about the cure that is provided but also the support to the families who lean on every word that you say, every action that you take and certainly the psychological support that you provide. Families put a great amount of trust in nurses when they are vulnerable. 

 It’s teamwork, commitment to the patients and commitment to one another as a team that results in the best possible outcome for the patients”.
