About 300 students from across Pune participated in the masterclass session, which was held on the Orchids The International School’s Manjri campus in Pune today. The masterclass series is an extension of the ‘Power Up With Legends’ initiative in which prominent personalities like Bhaichung Bhutia, Mary Kom, Shikhar Dhawan’s Da One Sports Academy, Geeta Phogat, Ajantha Mendes, Shiv Aroor, and Tanu Shree Singh from sports, arts and music domains have conducted masterclasses with the students in last six months across different campuses in India. The school chain aims to encourage students to look at education beyond the classroom, in terms of physical fitness, cultural expression, leadership, creativity and public speaking, thereby building life-long skills.
During the interactive session, Neelesh Misra shared his vision of the nuances of storytelling, bringing to the students his wealth of experience as a journalist and author. He emphasized the importance of storytelling in communication and encouraged students to harness the power of the narrative to express their ideas effectively.
