Commenting on the paints market in India Mr Agarwal said 70 per cent of the paints sold in the country are decorative paints used for beautifying homes and 30 per cent paints are sold as industrial paints. Size of the paints market in the country is Rs 70,000 crore and this is rising at a rate of 12 % to 15%. The market size is expected to double in the next five years, Mr Agarwal said.
