Pune : To mark the occasion of the birth anniversary of AgrasenMaharaja on 15th October, the Agarwal community has organized a three day district level league match from 30th September till 2 October at Down Town Ground, market yard. This match will be played among 18 groups which are named after each gotra of the Agarwal community and with 28 matches. Each match will be of 8 overs starting from 9 in the morning till 11.00 pm on these respective dates. In every group there will 5 senior players among the 11 players. During the press conference, President Anil Mittal, vice president Dinesh Gupta, Nitin Agarwal, Anil Agarwal, Renu Agarwal, Pravin Goyal, Vicky Gupta, Narendra Mittal, Sanjay Mittal, Sandeep Agarwal and other dignitaries were present to felicitate the team players and their captain.
Speaking to the press, Anil Mittal said that, it is necessary to make youth transformation the main agenda of the Agarwal community in order to bring back the youth in the main stream or else there will be a gap between both the generation.He further added that this match is organized to set a trend of brotherhood, good health and youth transformation for better future. Showing concern over the future of the youth he stated that we have to place our batton in the hands of these youth and therefore we have to bring them back in the mainstream. At present the youth are facing many challenges in family and business therefore it is necessary to promote brotherhood and healthy lifestyle for them.
The winner team will be felicitated by gold plated trophy and the runner up team would get silver plated trophy along with other trophies for man of the match, best batsman and bowler.
