Pune (Voice news service):- Rakshabandhan, the auspicious festival celebrating the sacred bond between brothers and sisters, holds a special place in our hearts. It’s a time when sisters tie the ‘rakhi’, a symbol of protection, around their brothers wrists, while the brothers vow to safeguard them in return. This year, Lexicon Kids Preschools and Child Development Centre redefined the spirit of Rakshabandhan with a heartwarming initiative – & ‘‘Rakhi with Khakee.’’
In a very sweet and touching gesture, our young students from Lexicon Kids (Viman Nagar, Handewadi, Undri, Kharadi, Wadgaon Sheri, Dhanori, and Vishrantwadi), accompanied by 20 teachers and staff members, took the opportunity to express their gratitude and admiration for the unwavering dedication of police officers from the nearest police stations.
“Our initiative, ‘Rakhi with Khakee’ allowed the students of Lexicon Kids to express their deep gratitude to the courageous police officers who work diligently to keep us all safe. We believe that even a small act of kindness can have a significant impact on fostering positive

‘‘Rakhi with Khakee’’ witnessed an overwhelming display of mutual respect among all participants and attendees. This warm gesture resonated deeply with the officers, who often carry out their duties in challenging circumstances.
We were truly touched by the genuine affection and consideration shown by these young children. Their rakhis served as a reminder of the responsibility we bear and the trust the community places in us.
