CA’s are playing a vital role in strengthening the economy

Dr. Ajit Ranade inaugurated the two days national conference for CA students organized by ICAI

Pune: Chartered Accountants (CA) is a confluence of knowledge and truth. CA’s are the driving force behind the Indian economy and you all are playing a vital role in strengthening the economy, stated Dr. Ajit Ranade, Vice Chancellor of Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics. He also stressed that young demography, urbanization, use of renewable energy, digital economy, and infrastructure are the five key factors to achieve a five trillion dollar economy.

Dr. Ajit Ranade inaugurated the two-day national conference for CA students organized by SSEB, Board of Studies (operations) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in association Pune branch of ICAI and the Pune branch of WICASA at Vardhman Sanskrutik Kendra, Bibvewadi. ‘Dnyangamya’, the theme of the conference, and more than 2000 CA students across the country in this conference.

Central Council Member CA Chandrashekhar Chitale, CA Mangesh Kinare, CA Dayaniwas Sharma, Regional Council Member CA Yashwant Kasar & CA Ruta Chitale, Chairman of Pune Branch of ICAI CA Rajesh Agrawal, Vice Chairman CA Amruta Kulkarni, Chairman of Pune WICASA CA Sachin Miniyar, Vice Chairman Sairam Khond, Committee members CA Pranav Apate, CA Kashinath Pathare, CA Pritesh Munot, members from WICASA, Madhavik Shah, Samiksha Shirsath, Onkar Phaphal, Suhas Sawant, Sneha Vedpathak were present on the occasion.

Dr. Ajit Ranade appreciated the CA profession. He said that we have to focus on the knowledge economy. You CA students are the future of the Indian economy. India became an exporter of software technologies and remittances. Adopt new technology, and deep knowledge and be the pillar of the economy, he added.

CA Chandrashekhar Chitale said ICAI is always on the front to guide the CA students. Along with the syllabus, many extracurricular activities have been organized throughout the year. CA’s are the architecture of the Indian economy.

CA Mangesh Kinare mentioned that CA is not a distance learning course. We have to learn from day-to-day experience. Students should adopt more knowledge and technological advancements.

CA Dayaniwas Sharma appealed to students to live with self-motivation and confidence. CA Ruta Chitale stressed the importance of reusing, recycling, and reducing waste. She also appealed to avoid the use of plastic.

CA Yashwant Kasar said that we have to always keep learning new things.  CA Rajesh Agrawal briefed about the initiatives run by the ICAI Pune branch. CA Sachin Miniyar gave welcome speech. Sanchi Honrao & Abhishek Puranik compared the program. CA Amruta Kulkarni gave a vote of thanks.
