Lodha couple’s initiative in social and humanitarian work honored by Suryadatta Group of Institutes
Pune P&V News Service) : On behalf of Suryadatta Group of Institutes and Basi-Ratna Charitable Welfare Trust, Mangalprabhat Lodha, MLA, Malabar Hill, Mumbai BJP and a famous builder has been awarded with ‘Suryadatta Samaj Bhushan Rashtriya Puraskar-2021’ for his contribution in economic, social, religious and political fields. On the other hand, his wife Manju Lodha, President of Lodha Charitable Trust and Gyangangotri Kavita Manch, had been honored with ‘Suryadatta Samajratna Rashtriya Puraskar-2021’ for her social, educational and cultural work and contribution in the field of writing and poetry.
The Lodha couple was felicitated on behalf of Suryadatta at the inauguration of an art exhibition recently organized by Navkar Art Foundation at Nehru Art Gallery, Mumbai. In the presence of His Holiness Gurudev Nathpadmasagarji Maharaj Saheb, Founder President, the Lodha couple was felicitated at the hands of Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman, Suryadatta Education Foundation and Mrs. Sushama S. Chordiya, Vice President Suryadatta Education Foundation, Navkar Art Foundation Founder Mansukh Chhajed and renowned actor Raza Murad. The awards were in the form of insignia, honors, shawls and medals. Manju Lodha accepted the awards on behalf of both.
The exhibition was organized with the aim of making the artists well known for their innovative art including painters, sketches etc. In this exhibition which lasted for seven days, 55 to 60 artists exhibited their art. Navkar Art Foundation founder Mansukh Chhajed along with Sanjay Sancheti, Roshni Lunawat, Prerna Ostwal, Kirti Oswal, Pratibha Duggad coordinated the event.
Professor Dr. Sanjay Chordiya said, “Every year, on behalf of the entire Suryadatta family, national and international awards are presented to the personalities who inspire the society, work on useful needs for the society and lead an ideal life. Till date, on behalf of the organization, Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Padmabhushan Yogacharya Dr. B. K. S. Iyengar, Padma Bhushan Shiv Nadar, Padmabhushan Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, Padma Bhushan Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, Padma Vibhushan Mohan Dharia and others have been awarded. The work of Manju and Mangalprabhat Lodha is inspiring to all.”
His Holiness Gurudev Shri Nath Padmasagarji Maharaj Saheb blessed the work of Suryadatta Group of Institutes who inspired the society and also congratulated the Lodha couple.
Speaking on the occasion Manju Lodha said that we both are joyous to receive the ‘Suryadatta’s National Award’ in the presence of Gurudevji. The memories of this event will be cherished for a lifetime. She thanked the Suryadatta family and expressed her good wishes for such social welfare and inspiring activities that are carried out by Suryadatta Group of Institutes.
