‘Double Tree by Hilton, Chinchwad’’s distinctive new age environmental activism

Pune : While providing first-class hotel services to their guests, DoubleTree by Hilton-Pune, Chinchwad
also pursues a green-collar, ecologically viable development model, emphasizing environmental management and the reduction of its overall footprint.
And in step with the proposed changes, DoubleTree by Hilton-Pune has decided to go plastic
water bottle free from 1st January 2022 in all the rooms and restaurants in order to adapt sustainable environmental practices.

The Hotel believes that a small step in reducing plastic usage can bring about a significant shift
in the environment.

In line with reducing waste, they have come up with an interesting way of celebrating Christmas. They have made a unique Christmas tree out of 1500 used plastic bottles. This unique Christmas tree serves as an exemplar in their steps towards being an environmentally sustainable hotel brand.

This falls in line with the national goal of peaking emissions and carbon neutrality, contributing to
the global efforts to tackle climate change
