ADP India Celebrates Annual Day in Pune, Marking 27 Years of Growth and a New Era of Human-Led, AI-Enabled Work
Bringing together 1,350+ associates, the celebration spotlighted ADP India’s people, culture and its growing role in shaping the future of work
Pune – ADP Private Limited, a leading provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, celebrated its Annual Day in Pune with over 1,350 associates at JW Marriott, Pune. Held under the theme “Our New Era: Human-Led, AI-Enabled,” the celebration marked 27 years of ADP’s journey in India and highlighted the people, ideas and culture driving the organisation’s continued growth and transformation. The Pune Annual Day celebrations underscored ADP India’s people-first culture while providing a platform to recognize achievements, celebrate talent and bring associates together.
The event brought together ADP associates for an evening that celebrated both the company’s achievements and the diverse talent that forms the foundation of its success. Far beyond a milestone celebration, the evening offered a showcase of the talent, creativity and community that define life at ADP India. The programme featured an eclectic mix of performances by ADP associates and children supported by Tarang, the CSR wing of the company, bringing together different generations of the ADP community on one stage. High-energy musical performances by ADP Studio, theatrical presentations and a vibrant Dhol performance added to the celebrations, a testament to the organization’s diverse and inclusive culture.
Pune has been an important part of ADP India’s growth story since operations commenced in 2007. Beginning primarily as a BPO operation, the Pune centre steadily evolved into a Center of Excellence between 2013 and 2019, expanding its capabilities and scope of work. Today, the centre has associates representing most of ADP’s business units, reflecting its transformation into a diverse and strategic part of ADP’s India operations. With more than 13,600 associates in India, the organisation has evolved from a 102-member operation into one of ADP’s strategic global innovation hubs, driving product engineering, AI innovation, automation and platform modernisation for ADP’s global business.
The Annual Day theme, “Our New Era: Human-Led, AI-Enabled,” reflects ADP’s belief that technology and human potential must advance together. As AI takes on more routine and complex tasks, human qualities such as creativity, empathy, collaboration, judgement and leadership become increasingly important in shaping meaningful outcomes.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Vijay Vemulapalli, Managing Director and General Manager, ADP Private Limited, said, “Annual Day is an opportunity to celebrate the people who have shaped ADP India’s remarkable journey and continue to define its future. Over 27 years, we have grown from 102 associates to more than 13,600, evolving into a strategic hub for innovation and high-value work. As we enter our new era of being ‘Human-Led, AI-Enabled,’ our associates remain at the centre of everything we do. We are focused on using AI to amplify human potential, while continuing to invest in the skills, creativity and leadership that will drive the future of work.”
Mr. Gaurav Rathee, Divisional Vice President and Head of Human Resources, Global Shared Services International, ADP, said “Pune has played an important role in ADP India’s growth, evolving into a strong center of talent, capability and collaboration over the years. What stands out is not just how the organization has grown, but how our people have grown by taking on new challenges, building new capabilities and contributing to the work we do globally. As we look ahead, we remain committed to creating opportunities for our associates to learn, innovate, and use AI as an enabler to help shape what comes next for ADP.”
