Noble Hospitals and Research Centre conducts CME on Advanced Liver Care and Transplant

Pune: Noble Hospitals successfully hosted the “Advanced Liver Care & Transplant CME – Processes, Protocols & Case-Based Learning” on Sunday, bringing together medical professionals for an insightful academic exchange focused on advancements in liver disease management and transplantation. Dr. Dileep Mane, Chairman and Managing Director, Noble Hospitals and Dr.Divij Mane, Deputy Managing Director, Noble Hospitals were present at the inauguration .  The CME was organised to mark World Liver Day and saw an enthusiastic participation from more than 200 leading surgeons and physicians
The Continuing Medical Education (CME) program covered a wide spectrum of topics, including current trends in liver transplantation outcomes, evaluation of fatty liver disease beyond conventional imaging, decision-making in chronic liver disease, and critical care approaches in cirrhosis.
The program emphasized practical, case-based learning, enabling participants to engage with real-world clinical scenarios. Discussions also explored acute liver failure management, transplant eligibility criteria, and innovations in living donor liver transplantation, with a focus on patient safety and long-term outcomes.
The interactive sessions contributed to a deeper understanding of multidisciplinary approaches required in managing advanced liver conditions.
Dr. Smita Parekh Liver Transplant Surgeon, Noble Hospitals and Research Centre  stressed on the importance of timely referral, accurate diagnosis, and adherence to standardized protocols to improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Sanjay Pathare, Group Executive Officer, Noble Hospitals and Research Centre said that Liver diseases, particularly fatty liver and advanced cirrhosis, are emerging as significant health challenges, and timely intervention along with multidisciplinary collaboration is crucial.
