Shambhala Brotherhood Premier League Successfully Concludes

Sunrise Ganaraj Giants win Men’s title, PKG Yerwada Strikers emerge Women’s Champions

Pune:The Shambhala Brotherhood Premier League (BPL), organized by the Pune Brotherhood Foundation, concluded successfully with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The three-day cricket tournament was held recently at the AFK Khadki ground under floodlights, creating a festive and energetic sporting atmosphere.

In the men’s category, Sunrise Ganraj Giants lifted the championship trophy, while B&B Bashers finished as runners-up. In the women’s category, PKG Yerwada Strikers emerged as champions and PKG Pradhikaran Panthers were the runners-up.

A total of seven men’s teams and four women’s teams participated in the tournament. The thrilling matches over three days showcased excellent cricketing skills and kept spectators thoroughly entertained. Along with the matches, a grand carnival was also organized, offering games, food stalls and various activities, which added to the festive spirit of the event.

The tournament was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Arun Thakur (Chief Engineer, Khadki Ammunition Factory). The grand success of the event was credited to Brotherhood CMD Mr. Ishwarchand Goyal, Chairman Mr. Sandeep Agarwal, Vice-Chairman Mr. Ajay Jindal, President Mr. Sagar Agarwal, Secretary Colonel Naresh Goyal, Directors Mr. Pawan Bansal, Mr. Sanjaykumar Agarwal, Mr. Rajesh Mittal, Mr. Yogesh Jain, Mr. Narendra Goyal, Mr. Yogesh Poddar, Mr. Prashant Agarwal and Mr. Arvind Agarwal, along with the entire organizing committee.

The men’s teams participating in the league were Sunrise Ganraj Giants, B&B Bashers, GB Smashers, Shriram Strikers, SNPS Ascenders and Vayudoot Racers, while the women’s teams included PKG Yerwada Strikers, PKG Pradhikaran Panthers, PKG Market Yard Warriors and PKG Aundh Avengers.
