IT Advisor to Chief Minister Dr. J. A. Chowdhary highlighted the significance of Pune in becoming a thriving city for startups

Pune (Voice news service):- More than 100 companies and organizations have participated in the ‘India Tech Talent League 2023’, a one-day Tech Conference organized by My Anatomy in association with BW People in Pune. The theme of the conference was ‘Talent, Technology, Transformation’ and a brainstorming session was organized to discuss the challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence & cutting edge technologies like Robotics, Machine Learning, ChatGPT, etc. The program was held at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Vimannagar, Pune.Former Special Chief Secretary & IT Advisor to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr. J. A. Chowdhary inaugurated the conference and gave a keynote address. Dr. Chowdhary talked about how the startup ecosystem is growing, and new advanced technology is emerging regularly. He also highlighted the significance of Pune in becoming a thriving city for startups.

Dr. Chowdary suggested that Indian startups shouldn’t be scared of AI and new technologies. Instead, they should use them in a good way to build a new foundation. A need for proper guidance when dealing with these new technologies. AI takes away jobs. but if you’re good with new technology, you can still do well in the corporate world. He also mentioned that it’s good if every school and college creates an atmosphere where students can learn about new technologies. This way, the younger generation can be skilled in handling changes in technology.

A brainstorming session was organized to discuss the challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Hundreds of startups and officials from government agencies took part in this session. The Chief Executive Officer of Bitwise, Dhwanit Malani, talked about how new and powerful technology can change things. He said that AI is like a tool that can create results, and it’s our job to make it meaningful and move it forward. 

In the tech world, many people have lots of questions. The confusing part is that what we know a little about and what we read on Google sometimes don’t agree. This mix-up makes it hard for many people in the industry to accept AI.

It’s important to understand how AI can make not just development better but also make work and business more efficient. Even though AI is getting better in the industry, people still need to be involved to make sure things are done right. At the same time, companies have to be careful when bringing in AI to make the most of the latest technology and make work better. Universities should make sure their courses include things like data science, machine learning, AI, and more. This way, the students they produce will be ready for what the industry needs, he added.

Vaibhav Srivastava discussed the interrelationship between GenAi and education, addressing the gap between industry and university. Exploring GenAI’s impact on education, he emphasized its role in personalizing learning and outlined the four pillars for scalable technology adoption. GenAi aims to create an efficient and productive workforce for the future through its integration into education and universities, he mentioned.

During the panel discussion, industry experts shared their thoughts and experiences regarding disruptive technologies and their impact on the industry. These seasoned professionals provided insights from various sectors, offering a comprehensive understanding of the effects and innovations brought about by new-era technologies. The discussion also covered points related to AI, its advantages, and effective ways to implement it for maximum outcomes. The experts concluded that we are in the AI generation, emphasizing that every industry is significantly influenced by it.

Sachin Deshmukh, Managing Director at Softdel, Ashwinee Singh, Director at UST, Hasit Trivedi, CTO Digital Technologies and Global Head – Al at Tech Mahindra, Ravi G Motwani, Vice President & India MD at Sincro, an Ansira company, Arun Menon, Chief Delivery Officer at Jade Global, Girish Kukreja, Founder at FlexC, Nilesh Bhojani, Senior Director at Seclore participated in panel discussion on ‘CXO Perspectives: Disruption to Innovation: How Al & Automation Are Reshaping’ and Haresh Patel, Board Director at MyAnatomy moderated the session. 

In a second panel discussion on ‘Innovators Insights: Future of Education & Employability in the Al & Automation’ participated following experts: Rajendra Raut, Vice President of talent Acquisition at Jade Global, Manjiri Patel Shinde, Vice President of global HR, Talent Acquisition and Operations at CloudMoyo, Joy George, Senior Director and Head HR at CDK Global, India, Ajay Krishnakutty, Head of Talent Acquisition-APJ Region at Siemens Healthineers, Baliram Mutagekar, Vice President at BNY Mellon, Pallavi Shah, Director Human Resource at Softdel, Tulsi Doultani, HR Head at Sakal Media Group and Pratap Pawar, Director HR & IT, GS LABS moderated the session.
