Bengal Fin-swimmers dominate opening day at 3rd National Fin swimming Championships Pune 2023

Pune (Voice News Service): West Bengal FinSwimmers dominated the proceedings on the opening day winning Four Golds at the 3rd National Finswimming Championships 2023 organized by Underwater Sports Association of Maharashtra under aegis of Underwater Sports Federation of India being held at Swimming Complex, Shree Shivchatrapati Kreeda Sankul, Mhalunge Balewadi, Pune.

Souvik Maity won the gold in the Senior Men’s 800mtr Bi-Fins , while in the women’s event in the same category Sima Manna won the gold

In the 400mtr Bi-Fins Junior Boys Souvik Das won the gold while Barnali Kundu claimed the gold in the Juniors Girls section

A total 1200 swimmers from 30 states were partipated in this event. The prizes were given away at the hands of International Finswimming Expert Mr.Ibrahim Gewida from Egypt, Refree Yasmin Musa from Dubai and Mr.Achinta Pandit treasurer of Underwater sports Federation of India, Mr.Vijay Kumar, secretary Underwater Finswimming association TamilNadu Mr.Anil Mehel, President, of Underwater sports association of Uttarakhand.

800mtr Bi-Fins(Senior Women’s):

1.Sima Manna(WB, 11:20:34Sec), 2.Prabha Lakshmi Deivasigam(TN,12:17:37sec), 3.Romita Biswas(WB,12:39:58sec );

800mtr Bi-Fins(Senior Men’s):

1.Souvik Maity(WB,08:51:49sec), 2.Vikramaditya Jha(WB, 09:08:08), 3.Paul Aram (Ker,09:17:36sec); 

400mtr Bi-Fins(Junior Boys):

1.Souvik Das(WB,04:12:61sec), 2.Arjun Kandoi(TS,04:21:28sec), 3.Samrat Misra (WB,04:25:52sec);

400mtr Bi-Fins(Junior Girls):

1.Barnali Kundu(WB,04:55:18sec), 2.Annesa Biswas (WB,05:03:15sec), 3.Kusum Kumwa(Mah,05:04:70sec);
