Kadvekar, Shinde cause upsets to enter quarterfinals at 9th Maharashtra State Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championship 2023

Pune (Voice News Serice): Kolhapur boys Kafil Kadvekar and Prathamesh Shinde caused upsets to enter the men’s  quarterfinals  at 9th Maharashtra State Mens and Womens Tennis Championship 2023.  will be organised by Solapur District Lawn Tennis Association (SDLTA) and MSLTA  Played  at the  MSLTA School of Tennis at the Divisional Sports Complex , Solapur 
In the men’s first round unseeded Kafil Kadvekar of Kolhapur upset third  seeded Harshal Bharne of Sambhajinagar 5-3, 1-4,5-4(4),  while unseeded 

Prathamesh Shinde again of Kolhapur upset fourth seeded Vamsikrushna Devsani of Solapur 4-2, 4-2 to enter into quarterfinal round. Top seeded Raj Bagdai of Amravati register 5-3, 4-1 win over Prath Chivte of Pune and second seeded  Pune boy Nishit Rahane scored 4-2, 5-4(7) win over Soham Jane of Nagpur  to enter into quarterfinals
The Tournament was inaugurated by Taluka Sports Officer Satyen Jadhav. Tournament Supervisor and ITF White Batch Referee Vaishali Shekatkar and Tournament Coordinator Rajeev Desai were present on this occasion.
