Pune based EV startup Dexto Arts Work launches Electric Scooter

Pune (P&V News Service): Pune based Electric Vehicle Startup – Art Work LLP has launched it’s first Electric Scooter Felixia at a function organised at Hotel Ramee Grand .  Dexto Arts Work LLP was incorporated in the year 2018 and is ready with the fleet of Electric Scooters and auto rickshaws.



The EV start up has been started by two youngsters Rohan Kamble and Shashikant Kamble. Rohan Kamble , an engineering graduate from Belgaum has worked in China and the US and gained experience in electric vehicle design before returning back to India in 2018 , while co-founder Shashikant Kamble is a marketing communications expert based out of Pune.  

With young customers in mind , the newly launched scooter Felixia- 100 has many features including battery warranty available for seven and ten years , India designed BMS , 15-18 litre boot space,  first in segment 12 inch tyre for better grip and road presence , mobile charging , semi digital display , LED lights, disc brakes , service button in case of break down to bring back the vehicle home . The scooter is available in Cherry Red, Black, White and Light Silver colours . The scooter gets charged in about three hours at home.

Rohan Kamble, Founder Dexto Arts Work LLP said that our company has started a two and three wheeler Electric Vehicle manufacturing facility at Faridabad . Currently our capacity is to manufacture 3500 two wheeler EVs per month. Felixia 100 will be followed by the launch of Felixia 150 , and fully digital scooter and bike in coming months.

He added that our strength is in the battery management system (BMS),The BMS is the heart while the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is the brain of the electric vehicle. ECU controls the throttle current rate and battery operations and BMS decides charging and discharging and power supply to other components of the vehicle. The battery provides stabilised and immediate power supply to drive the vehicle. Our vehicle has 80 percent of local components .

Shashikant Kamble, co-founder Dexto Arts Work LLP said that we will be starting with two dealers in Pune in he coming week , one at Wanawadi and other at Baner , followed by eight more dealers across Maharashtra in coming weeks. We are also concentrating on Goa and Madhya Pradesh in the first phase.  
Rohan Kamble added that charging station infrastructure in India is still evolving . We are trying to speak to various educational institutes for charging stations. The charging station requires a space of 4×4 ft and can be an opportunity for new entrepreneurs .
