6th International Diabetes Summit (Virtual) 2022 – A game changer in India’s fight against Diabetes

Pune: Chellaram Diabetes Institute has organized its 6th International Diabetes Summit (Virtual) 2022 to identify practical ways to tackle the growing menace of Diabetes and its complications. Each year, Chellaram Diabetes Institute organizes the International Diabetes Summit for medical professionals, researchers and para-medico professionals practising in India and abroad. The aim of the summit is to confer about the latest happenings in the sphere of Diabetes and its related health complications. Several nationally and internationally acclaimed Diabetes experts come together to impart knowledge on Diabetes care and research and pave the way for future research and study.

Prof. Nils-Goran Larsson, Chairman of the Nobel Prize Committee for Physiology and Medicine at Karolinska Instituet, Professor and Head of the Department of Medical and Biochemistry and Biophysics at Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden, will grace the inaugural function as the Chief Guest on 4th of March 2022. Dr Pratibha Varkey, President of Mayo Clinic Health System USA, will grace the Valedictory function as the Chief Guest on 6th March 2022.

The summit will cover talks on real time remission of Type 2 Diabetes, a patient-centric interactive session on insulin therapy in Type 1 Diabetes, workshop on obesity management, continuous glucose monitoring at home and in hospitals, cardiovascular (heart) care and Diabetes, role of nutrition in Diabetes management, pandemic diabetology and telehealth.
